Success story – Hear it from Marie Perry.

So I spoke to the very talented Marie Perry, from ‘Three little birds’. She is a chocolatier and a cake artist!

As a complete beginner to Buttercream, her journey is quite interesting… Can you relate?

What was your biggest Buttercream pain points?

Marie says – Having previously worked with fondant, I felt it was time to get to grips with buttercream. I’d had issues with my basic buttercream recipe, either the buttercream splitting or coming out with lots of airholes or being too soft to hold its shape!

Since learning the Buttercream Petals Signature Recipe I have not looked back. Perfect results every single time and it tastes as good as it looks…..Amazing!! That along with the step by step tuition from Neetha had me piping flowers so pretty I couldn’t quite believe I’d created them! It’s all the tips you get along the way that make the difference not just being given basic instructions.

What’s your best seller?

Marie says – I’ve created flowers on cakes and also cupcakes as bouquets or in baskets and they’ve all had the wow factor. People just can’t quite believe they’re all cake. They were extremely popular for Mothers Day and I’m now offering them as part of my Baby Shower package and that’s proving popular too.

Any other thoughts you’d like to share?
Marie says – Since taking Buttercream Petals course, I’ve made triple the course fee so far in a matter of months! For a product I couldn’t even offer before it has been such a good investment! And it’s a skill you learn for life, the benefit is ongoing!
